Intention/ The goal was to show an image using abstraction using texture and shapes.

Reference to the reading/ Duchemin suggests looking for ideas over GOOD ideas, I liked this and it helped me find this interesting pattern of repetition.

Outcome/ The image met my vision, this is a metal grate that shows a rough bumpy texture with this almost eye-like shape or form.

Edits/ The image was burned and sharpened. Minimally edited to get a few spider webs off the grate.

Vase 5, View2- This vase may be a little too bumpy. I have a feeling it will grow on me though. I added a short neck on this one due to the clay being a little stubborn today. I much prefer the tall necks.

I decide to try a new top design. I'm not sure if I like it yet. I am going to go back a little later and see how it looks. I think it looks a little too much like a head. Maybe if I alter the top like the body, I will like it a little better.
