A nice Patek Nautilus 5711 and one of the best icons today! What can you write about this stunning piece. For me it is one of the nicest watches out there! This model with the curved sides is even better than the 'original'.

Taken at the HorrorHound Weekend event held annually at the Sharonville Convention Center in the Sharonville suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. HorrorHound is a three day event celebrating horror movies and all things related. It is always sold out well in advance and packed with fans many of which dress for the occasion. It's a difficult place to get good pictures due to the large crowd and poor and limited choices for backgrounds.

I'm well aware of white face and cake makeup, but this is a new to me. That's basically the color and was not applied by me in post processing.

Gerald Genta designed this wonderful watch and a lot has written about it. This 'new' version is the nicest for me. As the curved 'ears' make it a bit more in balance.

Such pretty shades of the very palest pink and yellow - I love this yarn! I hand-dyed 4.80 ounces of my favorite Bluefaced Leicester wool and handspun it into 132 yards of soft and squishy bulky weight yarn.

Delivered yesterday to Purl Diva.

I love the softness of the the BFL but it's a little limp compared to the squishy Maine wool blend skeins.

Guest : Les « Big Brother Awards »

---

Paperback book cover and matching bookmark.

The ties are made from handmade plied yarn, wet felted with one end left unfelted-these ends were felted onto the cover.

Made almost the same as the ringbinder covers-a little bit more measuring and checking it fit ok before the second flap was sewn because it doesn't open out flat.

I don’t usually wear things this colourful, so I’ll probably give this hat away if someone wants it. Still, I liked knitting this! Using your own handspun is so much fun!

I knitted this flat in garter stitch, because I don’t mind sewing, but I do mind purling, especially if the finished thing looks like garter stitch anyway.

Landed on the top of the 4WD when we arrived at the picnic ground at Lake Boomanjin. A real favourite of mine.
