My last semester of grad school, I took a handquilting class and had high hopes of seeing a queen sized quilt! I finished 7 twelve inch blocks, and have another three between 70-90% done. The quilt requires twenty of these things, plus a boatload of sashing! So while I've thought I was needing only a few more blocks for the past... decade (!), there are ten more. Oy!

So, inspired by C's recent hand piecing, I dug these out from under my bed. Looking at the instructions, there are a *lot* with curves, which aren't quite my thing, so I may switch it up some to have more straight pieced blocks. We'll see. I'll finish some day!
