Birthdays..... It was my husband's birthday yesterday. Carrot cake and a killer shrimp and pasta dinner.
I had this bright idea and initially had the yahoo holding a fist full of candles...... it was indeed bright. A mini bonfire in fact, with quite the flame...... rapidly burning down towards his hand. Then there was the question of what to do with such a large 'flame' in my kitchen. He is so good to indulge me. We defaulted to one. Safer.
Just had 5 minutes spare in the garden and grabbed my RF 100mm F2.8 macro lens felt inspired to dust it off and give it another go!
It’s been a while since I’ve done any freehand macro photography, so I was a little rusty… but it felt good to get back into it.
