It's been a long time since I took a photo for myself, just for fun and I'm really happy with the result.
First of all happy new year, I wish you all the best in the world and I have faith that this 2022 comes with many beautiful things for everyone after such a painful year for many.
I thank everyone who is concerned about my mom's health, she is doing great! Cancer free thanks to the surgery.

Hay zonas de tórax y abdomen que están sin pruinar, aún no tienen azul sólido, y eso nos indica que acaba de estrenar el estado de adulto.

There are areas of the thorax and abdomen that are unprinted, they do not yet have solid blue, and that indicates that the adult state has just been released.

TRIVIA: Male Southern Masked-Weaver in breeding colors, waiting for the female to inspect his handiwork. Once she has approved the nest, she will add the finishing touches by providing a layer of soft, thick lining to the egg chamber. The weavers have perfected their nest-making technique by evolving a range of different stitches, as can be seen here. Some to construct the nest itself and others to securely attach it to a branch or to reeds.
