So it's my city of Sydney in a dystopic future, or is it now?
A city that embraces all manner of technology from drone shows, midnight laser tournaments, Uber 'everything' on demand, Tik Tok robots, Midjourney AI clones, and 'Die Hard' style explosions from the tops of skyscrapers.
It's definitely an 'Unstable Diffusion', lol, or perhaps it's just a scene from the iconic, though old-school, 'Battlestar Galactica'.
This is a new edit, with reduced smoke haze and enhanced clarity on the city buildings, from one of Sydney's many fireworks and laser shows held in 2024.
Photographed from the Cahill Walkway on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, just next to the south-eastern pylon.
No tripod. No AI.
My Canon EOS 5D Mk IV with the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens.
Processed in Adobe Lightroom.

Following the discovery of the Galactica orbiting within the Sol system's asteroid belt, designs for a new fleet of warships began. The result is the Battlestar Chelone, Greek for turtle. Significantly more armored that her Colonial counterpart, the Chelone-Class Battlestar is built to withstand multiple nuclear missile strikes.

As requested by my friend Paz, a side by side shot. Although the photo is edited onto a background, the ships are in fact together on my dining room table.
Found this looking through some old pics. Getting ready for Brickworld Virtual at the end of the month.

Been meaning to make this scene for a while now ever since I saw the CCBS piece that looks almost exactly like the Cylon raiders from the Battlestar Galactica remake.

And again an update from my classic Viper frorm Battlestar Galactica. The biggest difference is that it is now no longer white. And I have make some minor changes in the inside and some optical updates. I think especially the cockpit is now better.
I love this old TV-Series called Battlestar Galactica.
This microscale Mothership is built by me, the Colonial Viper created by Uwe Kurth (omega3108) . It's another part of my new book LEGO tips for kids: SPACE: Cool projects for your bricks .
