This was my first experience shooting 2 bodies at the same time, rigged up on my new BlackRapid dual body harness. I instantly felt a natural balance, having shot the past 5 months on a BlackRapid single sling strap.

I decided to stick close to home for this new shooting style experiment, so I wandered over to the E&R Railway roundhouse for a dusk/night time architectural shoot of these historical heritage buildings. I'm hoping next time to wander over to this railyard when they have the doors open to the roundhouse; it's a true historical treasure.

Nikon D600 and Nikkor 16-35mm f/4G VR lens at 23mm, tripod mounted at f/10, ISO 160 for 1.3 seconds average across 3 exposures. HDR merged in Photomatix Pro, basic exposure adjustments in Lightroom 4. Black and white/duotone split tone conversion in Lightroom 4.

From an architectural shoot of the Cedars youth sprts centre in London, taken recently for LOM, the practice I work for.

Just out back shooting a few sample shots with the Zeiss 25mm f/2.8. Very sharp lens, and really handles nicely, too. I can't wait to do some architectural shooting with it. The weather is getting nicer, so maybe this weekend!

I processed the DNG file with Aperture and Nik Silver Efex Pro. Applied a bit of a split-tone effect and some vignetting in Silver Efex.

I took this with my lab 3 group. We were wandering around Orlando looking for great places to take portraits. For me it turned into kind of a architecture shoot. The biggest problem with this photo is the lens distortion the buildings look a little bit bowed. For my own amusement I played around with it in Photoshop and got some pretty good results. This version however is the best you're going to get with iPhoto.

After getting up from the Wiggles you arrive at what is called Scout Lookout. From there you can just hang out and enjoy the view or head to the Angels Landing itself.

And just encase the last sign wasn't good enough, another one, more graphically expressive to drive home the point. I love how everyone was so cooperative to pose for me. If I could just get people to do this on my paid architectural shoots :)

I shot this with a Nikon D700, Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8, manuel mode. I put the shot together using Photomatix 4.0 and finalized the image using Photoshop CS4. This was my first true architectural shoot. This home is a few miles from my home. I had a wonderful time working with the agency and architect on this shoot.
