I had 30 minutes yesterday evening and so took my camera out for a little shoot. It's been a few weeks since I did this kind of thing and I really enjoyed myself.
I thought I do a little architecture shooting around Southampton Uni.

I spotted this groovy distorted reflection on the way to supper, I thought it was a slightly different perspective on Victoria's architecture.
I think I liked this shot because I just spent a day fixing perspective for an architectural shoot (not my strong suit), so it was nice to accept the distortions as an artistic element, rather than a mistake by a rookie with the wrong lens.
This set of images where shot for a client who's company bought land build modern homes then sell them on. These where shot using a 18-55mm standard lense using a wide angle fixture and fill in flash.
For a change - Shoot Urban instead of Rocks and Sand.
Architectural shoot does not interest me as much as nature landscape shoot but on days when the
weather is bad ..there is no harm learning and shooting it.

a special date- 9th Sept 2009. many couple have chosen today for registration and marry.
but, i have flew high up to the sky for work. 1500ft again for some architecture shoot. lovely!

From an architectural shoot of the Cedars youth sprts centre in London, taken recently for LOM, the practice I work for.
This was the darkest face of the cathedral. I was hoping for some different shots, but this was all that visible and not completely covered with scaffolding due to the earthquake a few years ago. I'm noticing some banding with my Sigma 14mm that I am not excited about, but for my first night architecture shoot with the new setup I am fairly happy.
