Apis cerana worker (Hym. Apidae) collecting pollen on a red Passiflora sp. (Passifloraceae), 4.v.2011, Yexianggu (Wild Elephant Valley), Yunnan, China.

Apis mellifera, worker. Apparently a member of the ligustica variety (Italian). (R. Venier on BugGuide informed me of variety).

Found resting on California Nettle, Urtica dioica ssp. gracilis leaf.
