After a few years of dereliction the boys are really getting stuck in demolishing the former Chelmsford Technical College, Chelmsford Institute of Higher Education , Anglia Polytechnic University and finally the Anglia Ruskin University central campus site in Park Road Chelmsford.
This i think is an excellent shot, it was taken by my friend and Flickr photostream contributer Dave using his Nikon D90 and is posted here with kind permission for your enjoyment.

Young Dave proudly shows off his brand new Vauxhall Viva HB saloon in 1969 at the RHP (Ransome Hoffmann Pollard) social club grounds at St. Fabiens Drive Chelmsford.
The car cost Dave just 6d as he had the winning ticket in the first ever RHP 'win a car' raffle.. ;-)
Donated to my photostream by friend and colleague Dave with kind permission.
The early stages of the new development at the former Chelmsford Technical College, Chelmsford Institute of Higher Education , Anglia Polytechnic University and finally the Anglia Ruskin University central campus site in Park Road Chelmsford (UK) in March 2013.

A small section of the second phase of the City Park West development at the former site of the Chelmsford Technical College, Chelmsford Institute of Higher Education , Anglia Polytechnic University and finally the Anglia Ruskin University central campus in City of Chelmsford in Essex (UK).
Note the footway path that just ends.. This new development has crassly taken away around half of this particular urban green park area which has no current name that I know of. Many years ago before the construction of the nearby 'Parkway' dual carriageway road to the right, this was part of the original Chelmsford recreation ground which later became Central Park.
