Since the taken of the photo's on the 29th Jan 2011 of a good friend of mine that did a tandem sky dive i needed to find some were to print my photos but were i could use my own designs as full A4 pages and not the ones were places on the web only offered there own templates. After looking on the web for places that might offer this kind of service i decided to make my own photo album that way i could use my own custom designs which i had made.
here is now over 300 photos made in to a 100 page photo album designed using Adobe Photoshop CS5 & lots of coffee lol

An album idea I'm currently working on for a Fremantle based band The Fags.
For their debut album, these ideas are not set in stone and are currently being developed, they are not the final result

This is my latest concept for wedding album. All done in Photoshop CS4.

Album design for 'Music From The Transformers Trilogy'. With this release I used a combination of subtle image based references to the Transformers films (glowing mechanical eyes and metallic-looking cosmic spheres) along with 3D, mechanised, angular pieces of typographic shapes, seemingly fitting together to form letterforms and whole words in a similar action to that of an Autobot changing form.

A simple country church at sunset.
The glow of the lights inside against the sunset-washed white siding.
The evening sky.
Elements that all add up to a nice portrait of this church.
I was reminded of it today, as I was going over a wedding album design with a bride & groom. She reminded me that I had taken this photo. "Could we add that nice photo of the church to the album?" she sweetly asked. Yup, and with a couple of clicks it was done, and they were happy with the results. We had fun going over all the photos, reliving the fun and magic of the day.
I took this one, on the night of the rehearsal, after most everyone had gone on to the dinner. Sunset gave that special light. Using my ultra-wide 10-20mm lens, I got the whole of the spire, and the sky above, giving the sense of that spire reaching upwards.
It just took a second, but this one photo touched the heart of the bride & groom.
I try to grab those kind of memories, whenever and wherever possible.
Because the smile on her face, as she saw this photo in their wedding album makes me smile.

2002年设计的cd album。封面不方便放上flickr ,这是cd 里面几页的其中之一。
那时疯狂爱上王家卫的电影。也超喜欢wing shya 的作品。
《春光乍泄》这电影给我很大的启发。爱上它既迷幻又浓厚的色彩。
当时的mowdee也中毒太深所以模仿一下。。。 现在的我反而比较喜欢淡色系。
不过怎么说这些照片都是我的baby。。是该放在这的～

Elegant yet ethereal is the main impression that I would like to send forth through my design. I chose the set of
red font that was put together in silk, representing the agility of the harmony. Red silk is the symbol for fine ladies and maidens in the Chinese culture. In my design, it speaks for the twelve very talented and beautiful girls. Their music, unlike others
from their background, is the combination of modern pop and ancient Chinese classical, where they use traditional musical instruments to perform upbeat songs. In terms of the layout, I chose the Chinese calligraphy arrangement to introduce their music, further tie in with their origin. Many of the pictures on the layout where gadgets that were important to women in the ancient China, such as hanging hairpin, red charm, etc. This is a design full of elements from the Chinese culture.

Vibrant, colourful and eyecatching designs with a main umbrella/love illustration to reflect the film.

One of my first templates using clipping masks and smart objects in CS3. I used a trick I saw on a DVD called "Wedding Album Design" by Bob Coats. I took the image of the bouquet from the center right and made it the background layer, transformed it, 100 % gaussian blur and about 40% opacity.
Each image has stroke and shadow to provide a bit of visual separation.

Just a truck...
Had been busy working on a wedding album design all day and suddenly realised how late it was. Dashed outside with about 15 minutes of light left to see that it was raining cats and dogs outside. This truck was parked right outside our house so I grabbed it. Pretty dull I know.

Ben is a worship leader at McLean Bible Church in Vienna, VA and Chris is the worship leader at Fairfax Community Church in Fairfax, VA. Chris has been desiring to record a hymns project for the last 4 years but felt like God wanted him to do the record with another artist. Soon after Ben and Chris met they began to talk about the idea of doing a hymns project that would include some old standards as well as some fresh hymnody.
When Chris approached about this project I was defiantly more then interested in doing the CD and after hearing the music I was stoked about working on the project. Shortly after listening to the music we drove to Uppperville, VA where Chris wanted to do the shoot and I was blown away by the location and couldn’t wait to get started.
We did a photo shoot on location at Trinity Episcopal Church and from the shoot I put together a nice contemporary album design to fit the updated style of traditional hymns.

I did the illustration on the cover, text is hand-drawn with the illustration. I also did the layout for both the front and back covers. The back cover incorporates subversive design developed in Intro to Graphic Design class.
Also, back cover will be made into a Hammerhead T-shirt, with the ski masks and names of band members only (no "Hammerhead").
Each side is aprox. 12 in x 12 in.
Coming out this Fall, 2015.

My buddy Matt Jackson, who I worked with last year on his album "Prove You Wrong" is prepping an EP to be released in a few months followed by a full length album in the fall.
Matt and his manager Keith contacted me about getting together to talk about images for these albums, and I jumped at the opportunity to be a fly-on-the-wall while he recorded vocals for one of his songs the other night at "The Space, a great recording studio located in Lowell MA on Western Avenue.
Here are a few behind-the-scenes shots as well as a few posed images that I got from Matt when he had a few free moments. Also included is a few album design examples that I always try to give my music clients to give them visual examples of what can be done with the images.
I'm looking forward to 2012 with Matt. Check him out. He's putting a lot of work into this new album.
