I took delivery of the machine in December, 2011 and it was in sad shape - which kinda worked for me 'cause it was beyond pulling into a faithful restoration.
So, a complete re-work as a track bike / racer with PM Chicane wheels, new Stadium shock, 790cc rebuilt engine with Montjuich cams, serious head work, revised cooling system, revised battery box and electrics and Airtech bodywork. Fired the new motor on March 8, 2012.

This bike is custom built. The engine is from a Yamaha SR500 (now 540cc making 42 rw HP) and most of the chassis is a Suzuki GS500. The tail and front fender is from AirTech, and the fairing is cut down from a Yamaha YSR50. The paint is House of Kolor 'Sherwood Forest Green'. The bike is amazing in the twisties, though it really needs to be kept on the boil to keep up with the likes of my wife's Suzuki SV650. As the saying goes, I'd rather be fast on a slow bike, than slow on a fast bike. Built in 1995 for approximately $5000.

derelict at Peterborough/ON (YPQ)
In August 1986, the aircraft was fitted with 980 HP PZL-621 engines and 4-bladed props by Airtech Canada at Peterborough Airport. The aircraft made its first flight with the new engines and props on March 6, 1987 but the company’s efforts to market the conversion was not successful and the aircraft remained parked at the airport.
The person in the picture was working on the plane - told me he has purchased it for $ 20.000,-- and is hoping to bring it back in the air again. Hard to believe, but I wish him good luck with his project (he will need it)
