Linnanmäki, the famous amusement park of Helsinki, was open for the last day of this summer today. Perfect sunny day for amusing yourself :D And enjoying the fireworks at night.

My sister and our dog Sunny floating in out above the ground swimming pool sometime in the early 1970s.
I told you guys this was a bad idea …..And that your boat was not a safe place to be…..OK …..If you want to be word perfect…..A raft…..But whether you call it a boat or a raft……It does not change the fact that you have a man overboard…..And I am getting a sinking feeling fast…..So throw me a life buoy Halo…..And be quick about it will you…..What do you mean that you haven’t got one…..But Jazz has found a long weed that might help to keep me afloat, you say……And to further help my cause…. you have Molly keeping a sharp look out for a sight of dry land on the horizon …Ummmmmm…...And if none of that works to save me…..I ask……Then what…… Well why oh why did you not say that the water is only 10 inches deep here…..Before I made a complete fool of myself……Ummmmmm…..Now move over and let me back aboard will you…..And this time it is my turn to be Captain Jack Sparrow…...
.
If you are like me when I first saw this photo…..And thought that Halo rear end was changing into a Blue Merle….Don’t worry……And ….Look again at the photo …..And you will see that the Blue Merle tail and rear end is in fact owned by Molly…..And we are not the only ones being fooled by this…… as Jazz has to do a double take to see if all is well with her little boy Halo……As for the Swan….She saying that she was not fooled for one second….But really!!!.....I doubt that…..
This is the same as the blue version of Afloat but I played around with the Hue slider in photoshop. I love how the color has completely changed throughout the entire image. I'm not sure which one I like better.
As always, thanks for viewing and comments are appreciated and welcomed.

Today was another day in school, learning about composition. One of the students was also trying to get the splash from this apple into the pool, so I snapped it floating past in the current - actually quite a difficult proposition given how fast the pumps were circulating the water!

What an exciting day! As I finally got Daffodil back in the water after her refit. Here's yours truly about to set off down river to undergo "sea trials". www.theopenboat.co.uk
