Strobist: One AB800 with a softbox high camera right and reflector below. Triggered by AB Radio Trigger

Photographed at Badbury Rings, Dorset.

Went for an entirely different approach this time. Had the help of a friend who has a wealth of experience having being in the industry for a long while, that sexy beast.

Also because of him I became more aware of settings on the D700 and sorted out my custom settings so I could do most things in camera instead of spending time in post-processing, which was always me goal.

And because of that, aside from the removal of stray hairs, this shot is entirely straight out of the camera, also all natural lighting as the attic vents and windows worked beautifully to diffuse the mid afternoon sun.

This is our Siberian Husky, Adonis, in our recent snowfall in Virginia.

Waking up in the early morning dew.

Go pee on the fainting couch. When they run over to yell at you I'll grab the filet mignon and I'll meet you under the bed in five.

Victoria Arduino has created a coffee machine dedicated to those who love the tradition of coffee and the modernity of design. It is called ADONIS, like the famous mythological figure, the symbol of youth and beauty. The distinctive feature of Adonis is its stunning and timeless beauty, And when a splendid design is used with the very latest technology, the result is a machine with extraction characteristics that offer incomparable taste, smell and touch sensations.

Finally found some of these stunning butterflies. The camera struggles to capture the amazing rich blue - when it catches the light it is dazzling. There were clouds of them on the meadow today.

Adonis blue pupa (Polyommatus bellargus) buried in soil. Surrey, UK.

The pupa was only partially concealed on my previous visit but now the red ants have buried it to a depth of a few millimetres and packed it in tightly. No ants seen in attendance this time.

Uncovered briefly and re-buried.
