air operated stop arm (old antique 1950s style stop arm)
Air Stop Arms - they are the old antique 1950s style stop arms. Some air stop arms use an actual blade with the word stop painted on it instead of a stop sign. Air stop arms still exists on some older school buses and some school buses with air brakes even though most newer school buses use electric stop arms which all have a stop sign which is a bright red octagon or blue octagon. Cherokee County School District still use the old antique 1950s style stop arms even though most school buses use electric stop arms. This air stop arm is from a very old Toronto District School Board School Bus from the late 1940s, the 1950s, and the early 1960s in Toronto Ontario Canada.
