Finally after all those years, the agents of the Alpha Team are reunited to fight agains Ogel's evil plans.
The RogueOlympics are nearing completion, and for the 7th round we were given the theme “Birthday”.
My interpretation was inspired by the Alpha Team theme, which somehow is already 21 years old.
One birthday gift I have very fond memories of was #6775 Alpha Team Bomb Squad. My brothers and I got plenty of good play out of that set, but would have loved to have some sort of opposing vehicle from Ogel to battle against. Enter the new Ogel Blitz Tank!
It uses 100 parts (counting Ogel himself), is complete on all sides, comfortably fits Ogel, plus the turret can rotate and raise or lower.

After making Ogel’s Blitz Tank for RogueOlympics, I had to make an Alpha Team craft to go up against him! This small skimmer was heavily influenced by #6772 Alpha Team Cruiser. The engines can both hinge and rotate, the radar dish can be folded down and stowed away, plus there’s a small cargo space behind the pilot’s seat.

Here is my son's LEGO Alpha Team Tundra Tracker. This is a cool looking LEGO vehicle. This one is pretty much the stock model as far as I know.

Strobist: 580EX II through white umbrella, camera right, LP120 through white umbrella camera left. Both at 1/4 power. The background is just a large piece of white poster paper setup like a continuous background. I bumped up the contrast and whiteness in Ps.
I couldn't come up with a better less vulgar name for this hot rod so (sorry) here it is. The Cherry Popper was named such because it is cherry red and the exhaust makes a loud popping sound. I've been itching to make a proper hot rod with those vintage front tires for some time now. This is a 6 wide car at the front and an 8 wide at the rear. The naturally asperated V8 makes around 440 horsepower and will do the quarter mile in around 9.89 seconds at 143MPH. It will go on to a top speed of 155MPH. Driven by Cam of the Alpha Team.
First time I got this, I was so pumped. It looks so neat.
But I have NEVER figured out how to use it.

Kostja Ullmann ( 1984) is a German actor, best known for his leading role in the award-winning coming of age drama Sommersturm/Summer Storm (2004) which gained a lot of praise throughout Europe.
Kostja Ullmann was born in 1984 in Hamburg to a German father and an Indian mother. His father is a former stage actor, and his mother is a former professional dancer with the Royal Ballet of London. His sister is actress Shantia Ullmann. Kostja entered the stage at the age of eleven and performed at Hamburg's Ernst-Deutsch-Theater and Winterhuder Fährhaus. In 1998, he made his TV debut in a minor part in the crime series Alphateam. In the following years, Ullmann starred in several minor roles in TV series such as Stahlnetz, Großstadtrevier, and Leipzig Homicide as well as in TV films such as the drama Albtraum einer Ehe (2001) alongside August Zirner. From 1999 to 2000, he was a cast member of the comedy series Zwei Männer am Herd with Wolfgang Fierek and Florian Fitz.
In 2004, Kostja Ullmann made his film debut in a leading role in Marco Kreuzpaintner's award-winning film Sommersturm/Summer Storm (2004). His performance in the romantic TV drama Heimliche Liebe about the relationship of a schoolboy and an older woman won Ullmann the Günther-Strack-Fernsehpreis as Best Actor in 2006. In his second film, Verfolgt (2006), Ullmann stars in a similar role. Directed by Angelina Maccarone, he plays a young delinquent who engages in an "amour fou" with his probation officer who is more than 30 years older than he is. The film won a Golden Leopard at the 2006 Locarno International Film Festival. He acted as Hermann Lake in German-Japan coproduction Baruto no Gakuen/Ode an die Freude (Masanobu Deme, 2006), based on the true story of the Bandō prisoner-of-war camp in World War I. It depicts the friendship of the German POWs with the director of the camp and local residents at the stage of Naruto, Tokushima Prefecture in Japan. Ullmann played the lead role, Luca Behrendt, in the film Die Zeit, die man Leben nennt (2008).

His later films include Quellen des Lebens/Sources of Life (Oskar Roehler, 2013) with Moritz Bleibtreu and Meret Becker, the espionage thriller A Most Wanted Man (Anton Corbijn, 2014) starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, and the romantic comedy Coming In (Marco Kreuzpaintner, 2014) in which Ullmann played a gay hairdresser, who falls in love with a beauty parlor owner named Heidi. He also starred in the comedy Mein Blind Date mit dem Leben/My Blind Date With Life (Marc Rothemund, 2017). He is announced for the Norvegian action comedy Børning 3 (Hallvard Bræin, 2020), and the British drama Resonance (Vivienne De Courcy, 2020), with Pat Vega.
