I want to thank each and everyone who took the time to visit my little space here on Flickr and perhaps gave a like or a comment on my image. With the holidays fast approaching I may not have time to acknowledge your comments but rest assured they are read and appreciated. I will hopefully get back to seeing all your images sooner than later.
I've had good results with the Agfa Isola II, a simple 120 camera, with f/6.3 and f/11 apertures, and B, 1/30th and 1/100th shutter speeds. I taped a yellow filter, which is actually from a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye.
Built in Flash 8, I'm going to make a little animation once I'm done with tracing my doodle.
Is there such thing as a Halotard? If so then I'm probably one :P
The second trial with Sigma 1.4 TC + 150-600 mm 5-6.3. Not as successful as I expected, but I think this is the best it can do with my system on a monopod, low light, and fast-moving object.

- Helenium 'Moerheim Beauty' is an excellent plant for some late summer colour and the dusty brick-red colour is fab.
It has daisy-like flowers with very big brown centres. The flowers are produced en masse through the summer and make a very vivid block of rich colour in the garden.
It is loved by bees and other beneficial insects.
- Helenium 'Moerheim Beauty', een zonnekruid, is ontdekt en benoemd door de Koninklijke Kwekerij Moerheim uit Dedemsvaart (Bij de Tuinen van Mien Ruys). Het is echt een beauty!
Het kenmerkende van zonnekruid is het bolstaande hart waar de bloemblaadjes vanaf staan. Het hartje is meestal geel, de kleur van de bloemblaadjes varieert van geel tot rood, bruin of oranje. 'Moerheim Beauty' is bruinrood, zeg maar baksteenrood. De margrietachtige bloemen zijn te bewonderen in juli en augustus, maar zelfs in de herfst kunnen ze nog bloeien.
De bloemen worden druk door vlinders en bijen bezocht.

"Landgoed Staverden" , Staverden The Netherlands
History
In 1298, the Roman king Rudolph von Habsburg granted city rights to the existing Staverden court. The idea of the then count of Gelre (Reinald I) was to establish a thriving city in this place. After building a castle, a canal system and outbuildings, Reinald abandoned this idea and the city became an estate, while preserving city rights. The "hof" Staverden was then issued by the Geldersche dukes in loan.

In the seven centuries that followed, the rich history of Staverden and its inhabitants was formed.
Landgoed Staverden
The estate has a total area of 718 ha and extends over a length of almost 7 km, from the Stakenberg in the North to almost the Uddelermeer in the South. It consists of approximately 340 hectares of forest, 310 hectares of agricultural land and 70 hectares of nature reserves, roads and buildings. Without exaggeration we may say that the great variety of deciduous and coniferous woodland, hedgerows, streams and flowery fields is one of the most beautiful nature reserves in our country.
Between all the greenery in Staverden are 18 characteristic farmhouses, the white castle, the villa and another 30 other houses and buildings. Several of these buildings have been designated as State or Municipal monument. In 2000 they are provided with a shield with a flaming peacock.
The smallest city
Staverden was officially declared the smallest city in the Benelux in 2012. It is possible that Staverden with its 52 inhabitants is even the smallest city in the world!

The new fence that was installed this morning gives us and our neighbor a little bit more privacy. And I think it's extra gorgeous!!
I had to sneak up on the sidewalk but stay hidden behind trees to get some shot of the gang having their breakfast buffet at the neighbours house up the road so not to spook them.

Headed to the bottom of the 'Hill' as I was pretty sure the sun would be making an appearance from under the retreating cloud .. it did too .. more frames to come this week.
A bit lost chasing seagulls with the 100-400 and noticed the sundog forming in the background ... and some nice bird symmetry..
