I decided to post one more photo of last week’s kite flying adventure on our street. I brought the kite out of a deep shadow and brightened up the boy and his friend, Andrew. He just looks so happy that I had to share it.
Originally, I thought that the bicyclists spoiled the shot, but once the kite came out of the shadows they became less important. We are seeing bikers, runners and walkers galore during this time of sequestration. Sheesh! I guess that I was right in choosing to post this shot. It has become my 56th Explored! image.

The "first" event during our recent visit to Michigan was a pre-birthday celebration at the bowling alley!
I had to see it to believe it . . . 4 year olds bowling with LARGE balls? Yup . . . bumpers automatically rise from the gutters and a metal structure (similar to a walker ~ see below), serves as a prop to hold the ball before it gets pushed down the alley!
Am processing photos now, and just loved this moment of adoring friendship!
Was also thrilled to have the scenery in the background with the pins waiting for the first STRIKE!

The Mr. Grumpy t-shirt has been his favorite for a couple of months.
Although, the character’s personna doesn't always match my son's
sterling personality.
But, for the last 4 days the kid has insisted on dressing with his
clothes on backward (also commando— but that's another issue).
My husband has diagnosed him with ODD.
First he insisted on being left handed when he is more dexterous
with his right. Then the interchangeable yes/no responses.
Now this... Maybe Dad is right?
Mia and her best friend Gabs. they are exactly one month apart and have known each other since they were in mommies' bellies, and have playdates since they were born. when they are together, it's like there is glue to stick them together. they both love princess, and pink (all thanks to Gabs!)
mia is the only child, so, it is very nice to have someone to "glue" to. =D
