I am on a train again. This was Friday evening and I was off to Edinburgh for a Ceilidh to celebrate 10 years of the Centre that I do some freeelance work for. I don't have posh clothes and was a bit thrown by the combination of location (posh hotel) and description (barbeque and ceilidh) that was provided on the invitation, so wore a little back and white wrap dress and some plastic beads(!) over some back trousers and flat shoes (for dancing!). Of course all the ladies were in proper dresses and gowns with sparkly high shoes... ooops. Fortunately everyone got drunk so quickly that I doubt it mattered much. I had a great time until after running through the edinburgh crowds to make the last train home there was a technical failure and the train set off half an hour late, still, I got there in the end which is the important bit :)
This making myself go out and do things I wouldn't normally is great fun.
Behind this once clear window is a world of creativity splattering and splashing from the paint pots of young imaginations.
Finlay was casting some cool shadows whilst listening to music this evening. I tried to capture them but like most 5 year olds he moves too quick -- especially when music is involved in his case.
I so loved his profile with the lamp behind, and managed to capture him deep in thought before Track 5 - When Mr. Clickety Cane...
