"I guess what I'm trying to say is I need the deep end
Keep imagining meeting, wished away entire lifetimes
Unfair we're not somewhere misbehaving for days
Great escape lost track of time and space
She's a silver lining climbing on my desire."
Anche questa volta
mi dovrai difendere
dagli sguardi della gente
perché non ha più senso
sentirsi diverso
o provare ad assomigliare a tutti
le colpe sono colpi da schivare
mentre giù nella trincea
non sai nemmeno a chi puntare
da quanto tempo ormai sappiamo che non fa per noi
chissà che fine farà la nostra città

First of all, lemme say I never even knew it was a thing to tip your photographer until earlier this year. BUT I gotta say it has warmed my heart when these amazing clients have gone above and beyond and given me a little something something.

Returning to the B&O Railroad Museum September 16, 2017!
Over the past three years, the B&O Railroad Museum's Restoration Staff have been working diligently restoring "America's Favorite Locomotive", B&O Railroad #25 "William Mason", back to its original 1856 livery. On Saturday, September 16, 2017 this beloved locomotive returns back home to the B&O's historic 1884 Roundhouse for all of us to see and admire.
The first 250 B&O members and visitors who arrive for this festive celebration will receive a free commemorative post card of the #25 "William Mason" locomotive.
The day's celebration will also offer B&O members, fans, and visitors special programming and tours highlighting the locomotive's history, celebrity, and restoration process. See archival artifacts and images of the Mason not usually on public display and listen to the discoveries made during the restoration process.
The restoration of B&O #25 represents one of the highest achievements of the Museum's restoration program. In order to ensure that we have the resources to continue this level of quality work, we will launch a small fundraising campaign on September 16 to support our locomotive and car conservation and restoration projects.

i know this isn't the most incredible picture or anything, but our planet is just so gorgeous. it is so full of such amazing, inspiring little details that so many of us miss out on. taking a second to glance up from my screen led me to see this, and it's helped me realize how much i block out of my life. i love this planet, and i hate that we're killing it more and more everyday.
today was bleh. seriously bleh. there is no other word for it. but i have art first thing tomorrow, so that'll hopefully brighten my wednesday. plus pep rally...oh boy.

This, however, is clearly 34060 '25 Squadron' ready to leave Basingstoke on an up train from Bournemouth heading for the Reading line which branches north just beyond the station.

B-25J-25-NC that saw combat in the closing months of WWII in the 12th Air Force in Italy being restored by Pacific Warbirds, San Martin, California.
The North American B-25 Mitchell (NA-62) was an American twin-engined medium bomber manufactured by North American Aviation. It was used by many Allied air forces, in every theater of World War II, as well as many other air forces after the war ended, and saw service across four decades.
The B-25 was named in honor of General Billy Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation. The B-25 is the only American military aircraft named after a specific person. By the end of its production, nearly 10,000 B-25s in numerous models had been built. (Wikipedia)
For starters, I don't have a dog: this cute little thing belongs to my mom's friend. He said this dog was lost in the street, dirty and unhealthy and he took it to take care of it just a few days before this shot :)
