Day 215/365

Was given a Olympus Pen 5 with the 17mm 1.8 and the Vf4 viewfinder on Loan from Olympus...so will be posting an album of shots from this camera within a week... Initial impressions are that its a pretty badass little street set up... its incredibly fast, which im not sure if thats a good thing or not... has a great viewfinder and flip screen (which I've been using as a waist level finder) and a slew of other features.

Work: "Can you come in early today, we're super busy!"

Me: "My car won't start"

The end.

Based on a true story. Basically my day in a nut shell. I had over 250 people come though my till today. It was so busy. But I'm glad everyone was really happy and it was a joy to have a bit of chat with some strangers. Good weather seems to bring out the best in people.

In other news I feel like it's been some time since I've done something gross like this. I mean gross in a good way of course. Just one of those good old photos that make you thing and question what you're looking at. Sorry in advance if it give you nightmares. Not much I can do about that :p

We're staying in a small village approx 1,000 metres above sea level and this is the view from our room/balcony. It's freaking amazing. And yes, we do have Wifi, so I will be uploading when I feel like it and have time to edit. (Maybe tonight. We'll see.) We're going down to Merano later today (217/365), byeee!

I've got five fingers on each hand for every mistake that I've made

And my tongue is tied to tonsils and I need to shit and shave

I'm a shade too pale for handsome and have habits I can't shake

But if you try to take that from me well I'll never be the same

Day 215 of the 365 Journey

DAY 4 Of the ONE Light Challenge

ARRRGH MATIE! Well shiver me timbers! There be photos on that there screen!

Back in the age of lassies, swashbucklers, treasure chests, and corsets, the wealthy pirates sometimes wanted to ensure their wanted posters were an accurate representation of who they were. Their vulgar personalities needed the assurance that everyone; prince and pauper; feared the correct man. This fine one eyed pillager was dandy enough to sit for a second before selling off to ravage the next island. Once the shot was finished I had to give him a gold shilling to keep myself from having to walk the plank.

Remember: Never cross swords with a pirate that’s had his picture taken. Why? If he’s had his picture taken it means he has a lot of money. If he has a lot of money…he’s probably VERY good at being a PIRATE!

ARRRGH!
