An Eastbound Guilford train is on the East side of Addison, NY in the Canisteo Valley on May 12, 1984. Seems like B&M power was leading more often than not back in those days. At least the D&H 506 still survives today on the Arcade & Attica RR.
Olympian R-type 203 parked at Marine garage, Portobello. M203 VSX is no longer in normal service and was pulled slightly earlier than its sisters 201, 202, 220, 229 and 230 which survived until the many changes in Lothian came into effect on January the 18th 2009. Note the laurel wreath emblem on the near side under the standard Lothian 'Your Locally Owned Buses' logo. The special crest showed off Lothian's accolade of being Bus of the Year 2007.

Lokomotywa M40 203 „Jennifer” z pociągiem Sz 19783 relacji Tapolca–Balatonfüred przed chwilą minęła semafor wjazdowy do stacji Badacsonytördemic-Szigliget. Lokomotywy spalinowe serii M40 były produkowane przez zakłady Ganz-MÁVAG dla węgierskiego przewoźnika narodowego w latach 1963–1970. Maszyny tej serii nazywane są „Púpos” („Garbaty”) ze względu na charakterystyczny kształt kabiny maszynisty, wystającej ponad przedział maszynowy.
M40 203 to jedna z wyjątkowych lokomotyw tej serii. W 1994 roku austriacka fabryka Jenbacher zaoferowała węgierskiemu przewoźnikowi bezpłatny montaż 16-cylindrowego silnika wysokoprężnego w układzie V, z turbodoładowaniem i elektronicznym sterowaniem – do celów testów eksploatacyjnych. Wygląd zewnętrzny lokomotywy zmienił się nieznacznie – nad filtrami powietrza nowego silnika zamontowano jedynie niewielką, prostokątną pokrywę.
Unikatowy „Púpos” pracował w rejonie Szombathely do 2005 roku. Z powodu braku części zamiennych pozostawał trwale wyłączony z eksploatacji do 2013 roku. Na początku 2014 roku przeprowadzono gruntowną naprawę pojazdu w Dombóvárze, po tym jak przez niemal dekadę niszczał w Szombathely. Lokomotywa wróciła do planowej eksploatacji, obsługując głównie pociągi pasażerskie relacji Győr–Siófok, zastępując uszkodzoną M40 235.
Jednak M40 203 często ulegała awariom, przez co stawała się niezdatna do użytku lub powodowała znaczne opóźnienia. W 2017 roku, z powodu uszkodzenia głównej prądnicy, została ponownie odstawiona w Szombathely. W 2020 roku lokomotywę odkupiła spółka MÁV Rail Tours Kft., rozpoczynając jej renowację. Remont zakończono w połowie maja 2024 roku. W ramach jazdy próbnej lokomotywa poprowadziła pociąg specjalny na trasie Budapeszt–Vác, jednak podczas tego przejazdu doszło do awarii silnika.
Po szybkiej naprawie „Jennifer” – mimo drobnych problemów – obsłużyła pociągi specjalne zorganizowane z okazji Retroweekendu 2024 w okolicach Debreczyna. Ze względu na awaryjną historię maszyny, jej udział w Retroweekendzie 2025 nad Balatonem nie był pewny. Pierwszego dnia imprezy M40 203 obsłużyła parę pociągów Balatonfüred-Tapolca–Balatonfüred. Drugiego dnia prowadziła składy w towarzystwie lokomotywy Nohab M61 019 – mogło to być celowe działanie organizatorów lub efekt kolejnych problemów technicznych
In het voorjaar wordt er traditioneel veel aan het spoor geklust. Zodoende ook op 2 april 2017 een foto van het overbrengen van werkmaterieel. Met aan de haak twee Unimat wisselstopmachines passeert op deze dag in een lekker lentezonnetje de 203-1 van Volkerrail als trein 56126 van Nijmegen naar Goes ter hoogte van Ravenstein.
I just moved and saw a bunch of cat hairs floating off my blanket, its kind of gross..and at the same time I wish I could get one in focus on my camera. It might be an explore waiting to happen.
Also, There is something about the way collar bones look that I love. I wish mine was more evident.
