Another World Heritage Site. You know, I actually visited five UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Beijing in just 2 days. Phweee, I had to walked so fast because we were only given 5-10 minutes at one place. I wanted so much to explore these historical sites on my own, as in to travel alone (so that no one can ask me to walk faster), but then I thought it would be better not to go through so much hassle since Beijing is a very congested city and I can't really speak Mandarin. Furthermore, I didn't have much time. If you are visiting Beijing, make sure to visit the Temple of Heaven because this is the place once visited by Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest.

....I refurbished & modified this $17 dreadnought guitar. Picked this up in an auction. The neck was broken. I made a new neck & headstock (Maple). fretboard (Black Walnut), bridge (Black Walnut), bone nut & saddle, and new pick guard. Replaced the old tuning pegs and installed new fret wires. 5 string to play in open G tuning, because of my left index finger index is gone due to an accident years ago. I named this guitar "Song Sparrow" because of the woodburning on it; the bird, feather and footprints on the fretboard.

開催当初、このオシャレで素敵なイベントは何なんだとびっくりしました。
小さな部屋の一室で開催され、その小さな部屋がとても良い感じに演出され、
来店するお客さんも海外のおしゃれブロガーや有名店舗の人達で、それはそれは特別な空間になっていました。
回数を重ね5回目となる今回のテーマはシュルレアリスムです。
奇跡的に今回も参加させて頂くことができました。
この素敵なイベント、素敵なクリエイターの方々、そして主催のルーとニルに感謝致します。
実は第一回目にNINIKOさんが出てたりと、今思い返してもすごいなーって思います。
As promised, a more documentary style shot of WNP-5, the last built and least finished of the 500 foot tall Nuclear Pressurized Water Reactors, it remains today atop a beautiful hill a shell (literally) of what it was meant to be. From the freeway these two giants seem to be hulking monsters, up close they are a fascinating story and physical reminder of a colossal waste of money.
The other two shots in comments for those who are wondering what the heck they are looking at. :-)
