The flowers are bright blue to very pale blue, but sometimes may be white, pink or lavender. When the flowers fade they are followed by lovely attractive, balloon shaped seedpods, in fact the seedpods are an inflated capsule composed of five fused true seedpods, and they are about two inches long, when they dry out they can be used for floral decoration in the home.
