Chelmsford, Kings Tower at Marconi Plaza
Kings Tower at Marconi Plaza on the left and on the right 'Norman Court' in the new "City Park West' development as viewed from Coval Lane public car park in the City of Chelmsford in the County of Essex (UK).
The 142 feet high Kings Tower was opened in 2007 and was designed so all the apartments caught the Sun at least one a day (weather permitting) and looked like a bow of a ship both ends.
Note the Great Eastern Main Line railway up on the viaduct that runs right between these two skyscrapers and the vehicles in the centre row all parked pointing out. Common sense prevails in a car park for a change..
