Baring Head - Wellington New Zealand

This series of shots follows the tramping circuit through the Baring Head area of East Harbour Regional Park, Wellington, New Zealand. The route features dramatic uplifted hills formed by Wellington's fierce tectonic activity; sweeping bays - rock formations - rough seas - wind-shaped vegetation and plant life that has evolved to withstand extremes of heat, cold, wind and moisture levels. It's poular for sea, rock and surf fishing, bouldering (rock climbing) walking and birdlife.
