The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea. (Explore)

~Isak Dinesen

Say this three times real fast: It's another of Steve's sunset seashore shots without seashells from our Saturday sojourn south several weeks ago.

Yay—you did it! :)~

Note: I know that long exposures for lake & ocean shots are all the rage on Flickr these days, but I have to confess: I'm not a big fan. I guess it's neat if you like seeing waves become a smooth layer of mist...but the roaring fury, rippling power and roiling movement of the ocean is what we go to the beach for. I mean, no one listens to the sound of a long exposure when trying to sleep—we want to hear the crashing of the waves. :)
