steve denny says: I love water photos, mainly because i take loads of them as i live near various lakes and ponds,i like to compare them to mine and see if i can take any tips to make my efforts better. This pic is great, firstly the 'stream' takes my eye, then i like the lighting on the mud(?) and then the whole composition just works well.

steve denny says: I'm a great fan of simple photography, sometimes its very hard to pull off a great shot when the subject lacks detail or interest, but when i take a look at this,i feel it wasn't just a chance shot,it shows that thought was a big part in taking this photo, great framing, contrast and belive it or not, great detail!

steve denny says: It's pretty obvious why i like this photo. It's the lighting that takes my eye first, the angle it was taken, nice use of negative space,I could go on,but i'd be here for ages!
