Jänschwalde, 2010

Jänschwalde Power Station (near Cottbus, Brandenburg, Germany) burns 80,000 tons of brown coal a day (sic!). The bright tower at the right is a public look-out with a view over a huge artificial lake an exhausted open-pit mine was transformed into.
