The Sydney Glaciarium was the third indoor ice-skating facility built in Australia and the first in New South Wales. It opened in George Street Ultimo in July in 1907, on the site of a nineteenth century Cyclorama. Located near the railway station it was a popular sporting and entertainment venue for nearly 50 years.
