Scalper
In 1697 Hannah Duston killed and scalped 10 Indians who had captured her and her newborn and her housemaid. She took the scalps as proof of the legitimacy of their escape.
This monument to her is erected on the island the indians took her to. She's got a tomahawk in one hand and 10 scalps in the other.
