The Sage of Shadowdale
After the sunset storm
A storm blew through just around sunset, just as I was at the shops getting a few groceries. So I ran home, grabbed the camera (forgot a tripod - so this is just handheld) and fired off a few frames. It was actually getting pretty dark by this time (don't remember exactly what the settings were but I think I shot the frames to make this image at 1600 ISO).
If I can dig up the originals (it was a while ago now) I can post the basic EXIF, but from memory the basic gist was:
5 xp, HDR, ISO 1600, RAW, Nikon D700, Tokina 12-14 f/4, no filters.
Images aligned with CS3, tone mapped with Photomatix and then the 16-bit TIF was further processed with CS3 for localised curves, dodging/burning, denoising, etc. Fairly basic stuff.
Goes hand in hand with this one.
