Isaac's Berowra Waters Flare shot
Photographer: Isaac.
I was teaching Isaac how to use a tripod as he needed to take a shot of Berowra, where we live, for his school photography competition. We thought the Berowra Waters ferry/marina (in the left of this shot) was probably the most picturesque icon in Berowra so I took him up to a rocky outcropping I'd shot sunsets from before for a sunset shoot (there's a 20-30m drop just in front of the camera - I had to always be watching him).
Next time I'll teach him about lens flare & shooting into the sun, but we decided there was some artistic merit to the flare in this shot - it should do pretty well in the competition (not bad for a 6 year old methinks).
