Unplowed Sheridan corner (with DSC-TX5)

--Performance--

As expected, image quality is nothing to brag about. For pixel peepers and those who like looking their photos at 100% view, you'd likely to be downright disappointed with the quality. However, for posting images (in reduced sizes) on the internet or printing at 4x6, the quality is just fine.

The camera ONLY shoots in JPEG. So, there will be limitations for post-processing. But, I intend to use this camera for "fun" with LOTS of post-processing to get more interesting results than straight out of camera, just mediocre JPEGs.

The user interface is pretty but functionally not great--even with the customizable settings. NEX 3/5, all on screen UI is better and easier to navigate.

While non retractable lens is great and keep the camera small and all, the issue is if you hold the camera with your left hand/ or 2 hands, on the wide end, most likely part of your hand WILL be in the picture. You have to hold either with one hand (on the right) or be very aware of the way you hold on the lens side.

I really like the sweep panorama, and other features like handheld twilight, anti motion blur and backlit corrections do work well and can actually be useful.
