How doth the little crocodile
How doth the little crocodile
Improve his shining tail
And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!
-- part of a poem by Lewis Carroll from his novel, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
Okay. You got me. Technically, this is a dwarf caiman from South America, and not a crocodile from the Nile. It's on exhibit at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. So this is how I think Lewis Carroll's poem should be adapted:
How does the dwarf caiman
Improve each shiny scale?
He bathes with savings of the layman
From every fishy sale

And pour the waters of the Nile
On every golden scale!
