Purple Beaded Bat - a suncatcher

I made this bat-shaped suncatcher from steel wire (which has a much warmer, yellowish tone than is normally seen in steel) and a mixture of glass beads in various translucent shades of purple. It has a wingspan of 19.5cm (just under 8"), and measures just under 5cm (just under 2") from the top of the head to its bottom. It hangs from a loop of purple ribbon, which loops through the top of its head.

You could hang this suncatcher by a window to catch the sunlight, or perhaps give her to a bat fan for their birthday. Thank you for taking the time to view this bat.
