A string flower

Almost completed...In the past couple of days I've experimented with a messy project... making string ornaments.

I was inspired by a How-to blog, by Ruffles

I hung a disco ball inside the petals, so it can spin and play with the light.

I used yellow yarn and haven't completely removed all the excess glue yet. It's quite flimsy, but it's given me ideas...

 

What a fun project to do on a sunny day.
