CATALINA
This is the Raspberry Pi 3B+ CATALINA that will be our in-house web application server once I develop the in-house web applications to run on it. The housing is made of #UnnecessaryWalnut, since I have a lot of scrap walnut laying around and I like the way it looks, especially after being finished with reduced tung oil.
As with all my Pis, this is a headless machine, though instead of using WiFi it will stay in the office wiring closet and connect directly to the office router with a physical Ethernet cable.
We use POE to power our VOIP phones, and maybe someday if we have any spare POE ports in our switch I'll install a POE Pi HAT to power CATALINA over the Ethernet cable and get rid of the dedicated DC power supply.
