Hyper Crush: CD cover mock-up

Here is a mock-up design I created for the 80s-style electro group Hyper Crush. Based on the current identity of the group with their crazy colors and retro motifs, I tried to create something that was a cross of Judas Priest and old K-Tel album covers.

The Priest references got a bit buried once the loud effects showed up :) The more layers I added, the funnier this design became.
