Mr 8 Eyes o0OooO0o
Hi all !
Here, i think i have another Tegenaria duellica Wolf Spider. Using the Bellows at full stretch and my 4x Microscope Objective i thought i would go for a close up of just its head. I managed to get a lot of detail in this stack but not as much as hoped as the alignment was off so its not as clear as hoped.
Stacked from 260 Images, i used both Dmap and Pmax for some retouching of the hairs and so overall the stack took around 2 hours to complete in total, my fastest one yet.
To give you an idea on the width of his head, imagine a small common black ant, his heads width is the length of an ant. So around 3-5mm
If you wish to see my cheapo setup click here for instructions on how i did it - www.flickr.com/photos/sequentialmacro/7227037800/in/photo...
If you click the larger image, there's a lot more gruesome details to see if you wish to www.flickr.com/photos/sequentialmacro/7289493624/sizes/k/...
Have a great week all !
