SequentialMacro
Abax parallelepipedus - Compound Beetle Eye
This photo was lurking about in my macro file on my PC so i decided to edit it a bit and stick it up out of interest.
A while ago i took photos of this massive guy eating a grape, seen here ; www.flickr.com/photos/sequentialmacro/6189697969/in/photo...

which is really impressive seeing each individual lens up close, you can see the colour inside of the entire structure instead of just black from far out ;
This single non stacked image was taken at F11 with a 50mm f1.8 Prime EF lens a while back before i sold it. For the flash i used the AFD360 at 1/16th power to the side of the camera with a flash chord of course.
thanks for looks and have a nice day all !
