Tension Issues
Man, I swear. I am not meant to knit a complete pair of Jaywalker socks.
Look closely at my two heels--the one on the right is significantly...larger...than the other. In a moment of what I can only term stupidity, I decided to cast on my second Jaywalker (on the right) on my Knit Picks dpns, which are metal. I had done the first one (on the left) on bamboos. Of course I did not consider that my knitting tension on bamboos MIGHT differ from my tension on metals.
arg!
So I'm happily knitting the second one--I was on the FOOT!--when I realize, hmm...the second one is awfully loose looking. My stitches are not as defined. So I tried it on. The stinking thing is *baggy!*
Off to froggyville. Just the second one.
And yes, I have learned and will reknit it with the bamboo needles.
oy vey.
