Fingering

This instrument does not yet have a name. Here, the inventor demonstrates the fingering. The sound is produced by the vibrating membrance stretched across the top. As for the sound, hmm, something in between a clarinet and a medieval cornett.

 

Edit (12/10/05): Inspired by the suggestion made below, the instrument is now tentatively called a frumhorn.
