Bixby Bling
This is a different version from a shot I posted back in late May called Bixby and Beyond.
The first version had no car lights at all, and this image shows a well traveled highway 1 in all its glory. I decided to post this image because I was really never happy with the original. I rediscovered this shot while making more room on my hard drive, and I decided to go for a little redemption.
I remember trying so hard to get shots without cars streaming along because I thought it took away from the beauty of Bixby Bridge and Big Sur. Today I am liking the car lights, and glowing headlights "blinging" out along Highway 1.
This was a challenging shoot with increasing wind, and a nasty marine layer growing by the minute.
