Since Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens is very popular these days, I thought I would complete an effects video that is a geek homage to my all time fave Star Wars movie from the original triology: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back. This video has been in the production pipe for almost a year and a half -- I mostly worked on it last winter and did release some parts of it as longer clips of some of the scenes in this video. I'm on Christmas vacation this week, and it was snowing today so I decided to sit down and finish it to based on what I already had, although I totally redid the last chase scene this afternoon. This uses stock music with a similar military theme as the sound track. Me and my wife saw the new Star Wars movie yesterday in the cinema and we both liked it very much. Still, Empire remains my all time fave Star Wars movie. Probably because I saw it when I was a teenager and have seen it a zillion times.
