On a road trip from Los Angeles to New Mexico, we briefly traveled the historic Route 66 and stopped at this really cool stop. Elmer's Bottle Tree Ranch is in Barstow, California and well worth stopping to explore. My wife and I took this road trip in June 2017. I was saddened to h ear that Elmer has since passed way in early 2019. I've procrastinated long enough in posting the content from this trip and I'm now finally getting to it.
