The Growl, Mount Kenya Animal Orphanage
View On Black
Continuing the story of one of the most beautiful wild cats I have ever seen, this is a black and white photo of the Lynx from yesterday. I have intentionally exaggerated the brightness to focus only on that dramatic yet unmistakably deadly face. And teeth! oh those teeth, this one wouldn’t think twice before rupturing our windpipe. She was ready to attack. The caretaker at MKAO clarified that they can not only growl but purr, snarl, hiss and even bark! All that venom in that little body. It’s true, being deadly has nothing to do with size.
