Dear All,

 

Thank you to those of you who made it to Maulden Heath on Tuesday; it was a lovely day and a good task! The area where the poplars stood until a couple of years ago is now much clearer, which will allow the sheep to get in there and, hopefully, they will eat the poplar re-growth as well as the grass.

 

Next Tuesday’s task is at Sandy Smith and will be planting trees/putting up deer netting/removing tree guards in the Upper Alders. Meet at the main entrance at 10am as usual (map attached).
