Website, Instagram, Facebook

A small stream flows into the ocean along coast of the Great Barrier Island in New Zealand. The island is one of the few Dark Sky Sanctuaries in the world. There is no municipal electricity. The inhabitants have electricity from solar panels or generators as needed, but after bedtime the island is remarkably dark. Stacked image. 23 light frames, 14-24 mm lens, 14 mm, f/2.8, 15 seconds, ISO 12,800.
