Apostasy
Any observant Christian would have noticed this ( 2 Timothy 4: 3-4 ) surely manifesting today in our own generation. Where many Christians especially in Europe and America have already left the faith and accepted other ungodly beliefs of the likes of paganism, witchcraft/ wicca, eastern mysticism which is a practice going rampant today , just to mention a few. They have left the faith and become rebelious against the Holy God.
This view may not be popular, but the media and almost all of organized and structured elements that influence people's lives are conditioning the masses to ungodliness and great rebellion against God. Where can you see images of entertainment with strong element of fornication and adultery flashed on the screen as if they are normal way of life. Where story plots of murder and violence and witchcraft had been considered as good entertainment.
Christianity has been subjected to ridicule and people against the faith were given platforms of their own propaganda denouncing the faith ad promoting other ungodly beliefs and way of life.
This happened because most leading the churches aren't called by the most High God and lacking the anointing, rather they are called by men to lead the churches.
Christianity is not dead at all. In fact great revival of faith with the power of God are happening all over the world. There are growing number of believers all over the globe. Jesus is calling for the lost sheep, and those who have ears will listen to his call and follow Him and be separate from the ways of this world.
